Many years ago we attended a series of intimate concerts organised by a chap in Turners Hill who hosted them in his conservatory. Every single one was a memorable evening - a small audience, talented performers, and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. There’s something quite special about hearing live music up close in a space where both the audience and the artist can really connect. Over the years we came away with a good number of CDs from the artists we heard there - a lovely reminder of those evenings and the music that stayed with us long after the concerts had finished. Those experiences left a lasting impression on us, and Fairlight House Concerts is our way of creating something similar here in our own home.

Our aim is simply to bring great musicians and small audiences together for enjoyable, informal evenings of live music. Because of the nature of house concerts, we can’t sell tickets in the usual way. Instead, each event will have a suggested donation, details of which will be shared in advance. All proceeds go directly towards supporting the artist and helping to fund future events.

We’re looking forward to welcoming both musicians and guests, and hope these evenings of music will continue for many years to come.
